🎉 Club Championships 2025: Your Gymnast’s Time to Shine (and Vault, and Swing, and Beam)!

Mark your calendars for Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th December 2025 — because it’s nearly time for our annual Wickers Gymnastics Club Championships, and yes, it’s just as exciting as it sounds (maybe more exciting than the school nativity, but don’t tell the shepherds that).

Whether your child is a cartwheel connoisseur or still wobbling through their first floor routine, this event is for every junior gymnast. Even if you’ve only just joined Wickers - don’t worry, we’ve got you. Coaches will be there to help throughout the day, and the energy? Think medals, moves, and memories. 🎖️

🗓️ Event Details:

When? Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th December 2025
Who? All Junior Members - if your child attends any of the following sessions, they’re invited:
- Monday to Friday: 4pm, 5.10pm, 6.20pm
- Friday: 7.30pm
- Saturday: 9.00am, 10.10am, 11.20am, 12.20pm, 12.30pm
Entry fee: £18.00 per gymnast(includes a commemorative t-shirt, medal, and certificate)➕ £5.00 admin fee if entered after Saturday 18th October

🏅 What Happens on the Day?

Each gymnast will:

Perform a floor routine
Show off their skills on the vault
Tackle a short but mighty bar routine

You’ll only need to attend one session — we’ll send the exact times once all entries are in. No weekend-long spectating marathons (unless you want to hang out with us the whole time — we wouldn’t blame you!).

Expect warmups, routines, and medal ceremonies all wrapped into one exciting session. Bring the family, bring the neighbours - there’ll be a raffle, refreshments, and enough adorable leotard moments to last you until the next Club Champs.

🎁 Everyone Gets a Prize!

Every gymnast will receive:

A shiny participation medal
An official Club Championships t-shirt (don’t forget to choose your child’s size when booking!)
A personalised certificate of achievement

Oh — and if your gymnast places 1st, 2nd or 3rd in their age category? They’ll be adding a bonus medal to the collection 🥇🥈🥉

💪 Why This Matters (More Than You Might Think)

This isn’t just about medals and leotards. It’s about confidence, growth, celebration, and teamwork. It’s a safe, fun way for your child to try performing in front of others, build resilience, and be part of something special.

It’s also our biggest fundraising event of the year — all profits go straight back into the club, funding:

New equipment
Staff training
Replacing foam and pit socks (because let’s be real, they take a beating).

✅ One child = one booking - if you’re signing up siblings, book each separately
✅ T-shirt sizes must be selected at time of booking - no swapsies later!
