Club Awards Workshop – Thursday 24th July 2025

Ready to earn your next medal and certificate? Our Club Awards Workshop is back and it’s a brilliant opportunity for gymnasts to focus, improve, and shine.

This drop-and-go session is open to Club Members and Non-Club Members aged 4+ who are working towards their next Wickers Gymnastics Award. Whether your child is collecting their very first badge or looking to add another to their growing collection, this workshop is all about progression with a side of positive encouragement.

🌟 About the Wickers Awards Scheme

British Gymnastics phased out their Proficiency Scheme in favour of the new Rise programme. After reviewing it, our coaches felt it didn’t quite reflect the unique progression and achievements of our gymnasts at Wickers. So we built our own.

The Wickers Awards Scheme was created by our coaching team and includes 18 levels plus Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards. It’s designed to align with our training methods and reward children’s individual journeys through the sport.

Assessments are carried out during regular classes and special sessions like this one, 2–3 times a year. On passing a level, gymnasts receive an email with their results and a shiny medal and certificate to show for it.

This workshop offers gymnasts focused time with coaches to polish the skills needed for their next level, with a relaxed and supportive vibe.
