Some of the questions we've been asked.

How do I pay for Wickers classes?

Classes can either be made out to Wickers by cheque or paid in cash and put in the black box

What should my child wear for class?

Wickers recognises that your child may not have a leotard, therefore they can wear shorts or leggings and a t-shirt. Please ensure that if your child wears a pair of shorts that they may not be made of jean material and ensure that their is no button or zip on it. Hair must be tied up and no jewellery is allowed. Insure earrings are taped or taken out.

Are your classes insured?

All our coaches as all gymnasts are insured with British Gymnastics. Gymnasts are asked to take out membership with British Gymnasts before they are enrolled with Wickers.

Are your teachers qualified?

All Wickers staff are qualified to British Gymnastics standards in any discipline they coach. All staff have qualifications in child protection and first aid. Wickers coaches are also all DBS checked.

Can we still join your classes after the term has started?

Sure. We may however have a waiting list at the time of enrolment.

Can parents watch?

Parents are welcome for Butterflies and Gloworms classes. We do however prefer that parents do not watch all junior sessions. Wickers runs a club competition yearly where parents can keep up with their child's progress.

What is your ratio of children to coaches?

Wickers tries to stay within a ratio of 8/1. This may change under certain circumstances
